My name is Stephanie Ziegler and I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin. This section of the New Generation web page concerns the popular television show "Friends," but first let me tell you about me. My favorite color is purple (as you can tell) and the things I love to do include dancing, going to the movies, and just hanging out with my friends and family. I am really enjoying college, and this semester I have some interesting classes. I am slowly becoming computer literate, purely as a survival mechanism. This is a site for my English class in which we studied the New Generation/Generation X. I chose to focus on "Friends" because I personally watch the show weekly, and so do many of my friends. This show seems to characterize GenX, and if it doesn't, the producers would like to think that it does. Anyway, since I am a Communications major, this subject is intersting for me to pursue, and I have learned alot researching for this page and trying to put the darned thing together!
